- Guitar Pick Numbers – 0010 to 0013
- Artist Name – Neal Schon
- Band Name – Journey
- Date Collected – 1996
- Notes – They came in to mix a new song, I think it was a bonus track for a greatest hits release. Even though we were mixing, Johnathan and Neal setup and were working on some songs. I was there helping along, and it was so cool to listen to them play. As we settled in to the mix, Steve Perry would be talking about certain tracks, and would sing out in the control room what he wanted to change. I was absolutely blown away by the quality of the voice I was hearing! Anyway, the three of them were very nice guys, treated me very well, and it turned out to be one of my most successful ‘assistant engineering’ projects. I have a quantity of 4 of these, identical.

Hello, The band was still together when this GH album was released.
This is from Wikipedia Greatest Hits is a compilation album by the American rock band Journey, released on November 15, 1988 by Columbia Records.[1] It is the band’s best-selling album to date, spending over 760 weeks on the Billboard pop album charts (more than any other compilation album in history) and selling over 25 million copies as of 2008. As of December 2008, it is the sixth highest certified greatest hits package in the United States according to the RIAA,[3] behind only similar packages by The Eagles, Billy Joel, Elton John, and The Beatles’ red and blue compilations.
Yes, Steve Perry has an amazing voice!!! just love it!! What song were they going over, because weren’t they not together for greatest hits?
I wish I could remember, it was all such a blur.
